Baking to Fine Art Classes

From Baking to Fine Art Classes, What more could you ask for?

Craftsy

From baking to Fine Art Classes . . .There are so many classes you can take at Craftsy!

As I explore the internet there are always new things to be found. Sometimes it surprises me when I stumble on a web site that has been around for many years. That was true when I discovered Etsy.

This was also true when I discovered Craftsy

To be honest with you, I am not sure how I came across Craftsy. I was most likely doing a bit of research on quilting techniques.

What I found on Craftsy, wasn’t just quilting classes!

There are classes for baking, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, jewelry making, paper crafts, sewing, spinning, weaving and now Craftsy even offers classes in Fine Art.

Craftsy Fine Art

Every since I took classes in non-profit management online, I have become hooked on the online learning platform. It is SO convenient – You can take your classes in your comfy PJs at 2 AM if that’s what you want to do!

And yes, to answer your question, I did sometimes “go to class” at 2:00 in the morning.

With Craftsy it even gets better – once you’re enrolled in a class its yours, available as long as you want, anytime you want.

What more can you ask for?

How about being taught by the best instructors!

Right now I am taking a class called Mastering Foundation Paper Piecing. * This is a technique I have flirted with over the years, but still feel unskilled at.

I want to perfect foundation piecing to add to my latest art quilt

Mastering Foundation paper Piecing is taught by Carol Doak, who has taught this technique for 20 years and is known as “the queen of paper piecing”.

Again, I ask what more could one want?

Well how about those fine art classes!

I dabble in doodles myself – so the opportunity to take fine art classes, especially one that teaches Perspective in landscape drawing, appeals to me. It seems like a perfect skill to learn and add to my art quilts. I’ve added this class to my Craftsy wishlist

The following is a list of the new Craftsy Fine Art Classes

Stop by and visit Craftsy for more information about their new fine art classes. Once you are registered (if you aren’t already), you’ll have access to these classes and more1

The art quilt I am working on has been in the works for a few years.
