Lemons + poppy seeds + whole wheat = a delicious yummy breakfast!
mmm, what’s not to love???
These have become one of our Sunday Breakfast Favorites! Top it with some blueberries and real maple syrup.
With a nice hot cup of coffee on the side – it’s just heaven!
Quick to make and delicious to eat!
Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp salt
1 1/2 Tsps poppy seeds
1 cup whole milk
1 Tsp. vanilla
2 tablespoons real Maple Syrup
Zest of one lemon
Blueberries for garnish
- Mix dry ingredients together
- Combine milk, eggs, vanilla, maple syrup and lemon zest to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
- Cook on a hot griddle for 2- 3 minutes.
- Flip to cook the other side.
- Garnish with fresh blueberries
