Decorate Your Home with Fresh Greens in 3 Simple Steps

Create a simple Festive Display in 3 Simple Steps

decorate greens 3 simple steps
I’ve grown tired of fakery at Christmas.

Fake trees, Fake Greens, stored in boxes all year.

They grow dingy and dusty as time marches on.

This year, I decided it was time to put fresh greens and flowers throughout the house.

No plastic garland, No artificial floral garlands, that gather dust.

Decorating with Fresh Greens, is cleaner, simpler, and much more festive Click To Tweet
Here is a simple solution, to all of that fakery.

The Materials

  • Gather your greens of choice – I used small branches from our mountain laurel, pine trees, and rhododendrons – you could also use Holly, Winter berry stems, juniper etc…)
  •
Mason Jars of Varying sizes

Fresh Cranberries

Christmas Ornaments in various colors and sizes

    How To is simple 🙂

    Decorate with fresh Greens

    1. Fill each mason jar about 1/3 – 1/2 full with cranberries
    2. Add Water – you’ll be adding greens so don’t fill it to the top.
    3. Add greens to the mason jars, trim them so they aren’t going to tip the mason jars over. Add several to each jar.
    4. Decorate with Fresh Greens

Optional, add a few small ornaments to your display
Add some fun mini lights like these
