5 Container Ideas for Centerpieces and Table Decor

I love table decor and fun centerpieces
In fact, that’s how Del~Lillian’s got started, with unique “artsy fartsy” quilted runners and placemats.

But this is about Centerpieces and table decor!

5 Conatiner Ideas for centerpieces and and table decor

You don’t need fancy dancy containers and expensive floral arrangements to make your table inviting.

That’s what it’s really all about, isn’t it?

Enjoying the company of family and friends in a comfortable setting.

To create fun table centerpieces and decorations you need to start with Containers & Things.

Here are 5 different types of containers for DIY centerpieces.

  1. Drinking Glasses
  2. Drinking glasses come in all shapes and sizes, tall ones make nice vases, while shorter ones are perfect to float tea candles in.

  3. Jars
  4. My favorite? Mason Jars!
But Mason Jars aren’t the only jars and jars like drinking glasses come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

  5. Cups and Mugs
  6. I love using coffee cups with the saucer filled with organic nuts or candy.
They’re also great for charming floral arrangements.

  7. Baskets
  8. Baskets are down to earth and perfect for edible centerpieces.
Filled them warm rolls or fruits. Eye-catching and useful!

  9. Bowls
  10. They don’t need to be fancy bowls. Serving bowls, cereal bowls, soup bowls, all are perfect to fill with water and float candles in. Add a few colorful rocks and flowers for an extra bit of fun.

Larger Bowls like trifle dishes and punch bowls can be filled up with fruit.

This is just the beginning!

We’ll be exploring more table decor in the weeks to come!
