The beginning of the new year is a perfect time to change up your old stale routine
There is something about the beginning of the year, it begs for a fresh start and changing up the routine. I’m talking any routine or schedule that has just become ho hum…
For us it’s a new workout schedule, instead of 7 AM I’m changing it up to 5 AM so my husband and I can workout together.
The criteria for the program was that it had to be no more then 30 minutes.
Because it’s been about 5 years since my Husband has worked out I chose
21 Day Fix for our new year 5 AM workout routine.
This isn’t to say that the 21 day fix is lame or super easy.
It’s a good workout, it’s just 30 minutes long and it’s only a 21 day commitment.
I’m banking on my husband enjoying the new routine enought that we’ll do another round when we are done!
Today was day 1.
We started with a cup of coffee and then worked out – that works for us, we’ve tried to just jump out of bed and work out, but sometimes that’s just not a great Idea! I like to be somewhat awake when I’m going to be doing surrenders!
Benefits of the new year, new early morning routine
The Early Routine is allowing me to change up my whole day, for example,
I’m getting work done earlier, leaving my most creative time available for creating 🙂
We both are enjoying an extra boost of energy.
